Tamworth Castle

The Tamworth Castle Investigation Team asked her how this particular investigation was aquired.

It was Saturday November 9^th 2002 and for a change we decided to go to Tamworth for the day. We found on our arrival that there was a castle and being interested in castles and historical buildings we decided to pay the castle a visit.

My interest was sparked even more when on looking though the guidebook I saw that the castle was reported to be haunted. The castle was quiet and as always I had my trusty crystal on me so I tried some dowsing to try to ascertain if there were any spirits present in the castle. As I was the only person-asking question there were no notes made of the questions or answers, as it is our policy to only report dowsing sessions where there is more than one dowser.

I sat in the haunted bedroom for a while asking several questions and on leaving I thanked the spirits present and asked if they minded having their photograph taken. We left the room and went onto the parapet dowsing in general to see if there were any spirits there, as we reached the other end of the parapet we took a photograph and continued on with our tour.

On arriving home we looked at the photographs and found there were two that contained orbs and a third with what looks like a small female in a long white dress outside the door to the haunted bedroom.

We had noticed on the Internet that the Tamworth Times were interested in any unusual experiences so we contacted them. An interview was arranged with them at the Castle and on that visit we met Frank Caldwell the Heritage Services Manager at the Castle. It was during this meeting that we broached the subject of doing an overnight vigil to investigate the castle. After further meetings and visits a date was arranged and this investigation is the outcome.
